"dumb" and "completely disconnected from reality" also come to mind as ways to describe him.

finally an opportunity for Vincent. only took him 15 years, needed to move to another organization, and watched that organization hire /fire an idiot.
but it's not over yet, they have still time to hire a new guy.

would be funny if CLB still had to respect his contract and pay him, but in this case they probably don't since he was fired for breaking the team's and/or the NHLPA's policies.

huh, interesting... I wonder why they were that nice and let him resign instead of just firing him, it's not like it would make the decision to hire him in the first place look any worse.

“This was a difficult decision on everyone’s part, but one we felt necessary to ensure our focus remains on the players and the team’s upcoming season,” said Blue Jackets general manager and alternate governor Jarmo Kekalainen said in the same release. “On behalf of the entire Blue Jackets organization, we want to thank Mike for his hard work and the professionalism he has shown in working together on a plan to step down.”

You HAVE to think that, not only the GM, but Davidson and everyone else throughout the organization gave this freak a second chance. So the entire organization is on the hook for this horrible decision.

This may put the GM on the hot seat?? But who knows in this day and age of excuses and the old boys club. As he’s been the GM since 2012/13???

I really don't get what he was thinking... maybe he's so delusional he thought that players would see it as this cool and original way of using technology to get to know someone better?? wtf.

and I don't get what they were thinking in CLB either to hire him, it isn't like he had this amazing track record as a hockey coach that could help forgive his unconventional ways.

it's all kinds of dumb.
