Just to give you an idea of how crazy the past week has been:
Blue Jays playoff odds the day the Rangers series started: 79.3%
Blue Jays playoff odds the day the Rangers series ended: 33.6%
Blue Jays playoff odds right this second: 79%

Oh babs - TheMussel
Simply couldn't get out of his own way.
Didnt even make it to a practice.
Apparently what the vets experienced was much different than what the younger guys experienced
Time for babs to leave hockey for good now. |

How does every player feel about Boone Jenner as team captain in that Columbus locker room now. Hopefully he was 100% honest in his statement but that’ll be a poopty position to be in and also a very stupid hill to die on. - bryant
According to reports, the vets had a much different experience than the younger players.
Apparently he and others were honest in their experience, had no way to know what others went through at the time. |

So, how'd the Leafs prospect do at the tournament over the weekend.

Kind of funny that babcock was telling guys to hand over their phones to see what type of person they are and then he gets canned for the type of person he is. |

When do guys need to start reporting for camp?
I heard McDavid told everyone on his team to report by sept 1st. |

I think first day of camp is Thursday. Length of training camp set out in CBA so McDavid might have been organizing informal on-ice sessions without coaches and not in team facilities. |

Today's Puckdoku sucks.
I don't follow any of these teams or the OHL.
I'm staring at it now in another browser tab, and I can't think of a single answer right offhand...
Edit : Matt Duchene. I got one.
Edit : Jack Johnson. Make that two.
Edit : Pulled Tomas Vokoun out of my ass. That makes three.
Edit : Took wild shots at the OHL players and got lucky on Richard Panik and Adam Foote.
Did better than I thought I would.

I think everybody does their own small group workouts. Leafs are hands off until end of week. Preseason game #1 on Sunday afternoon .....bring on the Turds.
Can we put Reaves out there with a bunch of tough kids and set the tone for the season? |

My default is start in the 80's and then go forward. It helps with uniqueness because the young kids are limited to recent/active players.
And, either a lot of people cheat, or I don't know as much as I thought I did. The average scores are usually well above mine. |

I was on track with uniqueness (ended up @ 172) because I got myself thinking, "there's a goalie link between Pittsburgh and Ottawa . . ." and then completely whiffed on the obvious . . . I'm not kidding, I had 3.2% in the Pittsburgh column combined and thought I was off to the races, but the middle square @ 56% changed how low I thought I'd go. Ended up with the most popular on top middle, middle and bottom right.

I'm definitely good at the OHL. But the one I sat there running through my head on was Colorado/Pittsburgh. I couldn't think of anyone at all and started running through journeymen over the years and landed on an obscure one that I was fairly certain about.

My answers were pretty standard...
but i honestly couldn't think of a single ontario boy who plays for the caps so I went super off the board and went with Al Iafrate |

I just went Tom Wilson, but uniqueness wasn’t great. |

I wish there was a way to share your results with your player choices showing. I guess we could take screenshots, but that's a minor PITA and then you have to host it somewhere because you can't attach or embed files here on this stone age forum software.

Dylan Strome. And mostly because I was sort of hoping the Leafs might sign him last year, but he went for $3.5m which was higher than I'd hoped.
If was thinking old-timey on the Caps . . .I'm pretty sure it was the the OHL when they drafted Scott Stevens from Kitchener.
