yup, and he completely ruined his 2nd chance. you can't just "start over" and pretend like nothing happened.

its crazy, you even see it in the work environements, bosses dont have balls anymore ! Except the old guys, heard on a call not long ago :

I couldn't disagree more, this wasn't "nothing", and it's well-documented that the guy has been a complete asshole with players since he started coaching in the NHL, but ok cool.
