So the Leafs made no roster changes, didn't change the look and feel of the team at all and are just 'running it back' this year?

Interesting I guess I dreamt all the changes that were made or we have VERY different opinions on what "run-it-back' means.

He has a poor history . . . almost like he made a deal with the devil but it had a time limit. Hall, Seguin, the acquisition of Griffin Reinhart for a 1st & 2nd (that turned into Barzal & Beauvillier), Eberle for Ryan Strome, Ryan Strome for Ryan Spooner . . .

Man that's a bad run. Made exponentially worse by the fact that the latter moves were made while he had one of the best players of all time on his roster. If'd he'd just kept Hall and Eberle he'd be arguably farther ahead.

Like a couple of idiot cousins of mine who whined that our team going into this season isn't as good, or at least won't be better than, the team that ended last season. As if the whole concept of acquiring players at the deadline last year is over their heads and they can't grasp the logic.

New GM, top 6 player out and a new one in, another is a Rookie stepping up into that role, and a new top 4 D who is as bad at defense as Holl is but infinitely better offensively.
