Did you dislike Darcy Tucker? - jribout
I disliked some of the dirty thing he did on the ice for sure yes.
Same for Kadri and Bunting.

I never saw him do anything filthy while he played for Lightning. I've seen Cernak do worse, more than once. Gudas throws a mean old-school hip check. I don't think he's in the same league as Marchand or Perry. I hated it that Perry played for the Lightning. I grew to tolerate Maroon, but Whorey Fairy never grew on me. - GalacticStone
Fatty Patty just yaps and when he did try and fight he got owned.
Perry is a class A POS.
Gudas (IMO) is a POS but to your point not as bad as some others.
Your team has a few dirty wieners - Kucherov is super dirty for instance.

Ducks' Radko Gudas rejected offers from Maple Leafs, Oilers because of media scrutiny

One of the more sought-after free agent defencemen this offseason rejected multiple contract offers from Canadian teams to stay out of the NHL limelight.
Before signing with the Anaheim Ducks as an unrestricted free agent earlier this summer, defenceman Radko Gudas reportedly received multiple offers from various Canadian teams. In a recent interview with Czech outlet DenikSport, Gudas revealed that the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, and Toronto Maple Leafs all reached out to the blueliner to try and ink a deal. The 33-year-old, however, was not interested in playing hockey north of the border.
The reason? Gudas wasn't interested in the notorious scrutiny and pressure from Canadian hockey media, especially after his recent experience." - systemtool

I think Matt Dumba is the most likely leaf of all time at the TDL.
Wouldn't even be shocked one bit if its Dumba plus Kerfoot(1M retained by another team) for a 2.5M cap hit.
Keefe loves his Kerfoot. |

If the moves pay off, I think this Leafs roster is better than last year's. A lot more physicality and some of it has a measure of offensive upside. I'm not a big fan of the Klingberg addition, but losing Holl is addition by subtraction. I would have kept Schenn or went after Gudas instead of Klingon. The only disappointment in my book is keeping Keefe, but unless there was a better option, I guess keeping him on a short leash is not the worst thing. - GalacticStone
I’m not sure what to think of him yet but as long as he’s not a defensive liability I’m ok with it. Rielly has proven that he can’t run the number 1 powerplay and klingberg can hopefully add a threat from the blue line that this team has been lacking for years.
Having a confident pp will help come playoffs. They seem to struggle in the postseason. |

I forgot about the rage yelling into Woll's cage. That was a lame move, because he wouldn't have pulled that if someone like Wilson or Reaves was on the ice.
Yeah, Kucherov is dirty, but he's changed a little recently. Earlier in his career, he was more of a Whorey Fairy type of dirty. Spears, elbows, trying to hurt people. Now, his dirtiness is a lot of diving and embellishing. He'd fit right in on a soccer pitch. Look at him wrong and he acts like he's been runover by a truck. He has limited his recent stickwork to retaliatory stuff.
One thing I did learn to like about Fatty Patty - he fights. He will fight anybody, even if he gets his ass handed to him. Guys like Marchand are too chickenpoop to fight most of the time. He fought Chara, so give him credit there. Although, it was less of a fight, and more of Fatty clinging to Chara and hoping he survived long enough for the refs to step in.

Peak Klingberg was absolutely a threat on the PP. I don't know how much of peak Klingberg is still with us. Hopefully he's not at the Shattenkirk stage of his career yet.

Love me some dirty nasty puck - as long as you’re not a rat (bunting/Kadri at times) and pay the piper for it like Tucker did. That crazy SOB scrapped legit heavyweights man. He was a beauty. |

In the last 3 seasons combined Klingberg has a better Powerplay points per 60 than Morgan Rielly with far far worse talent and in his "down seasons"
his PPP per 60 is also better than John Carlson, Brent Burns, Letang to name a few who also have has much better PP players to work with.
The bet on Klingberg on the PP1 has a very high ceiling. |

If he stays healthy, he will definitely be a help. He hasn't played a full season of games since 2017-2018. He's not exactly fragile, but he's not durable either. |

Loved Tucker in Tampa. You're right, he would fight anybody. And he held his own in most cases. And, if you did give him a beat down, he'd pop right back up grinning ear to ear and curse your mother all the way to the box. |

Good point you and Galatic Stoner made - I do have more respect for the guys who are dirty on occasion and will answer the bell vs the Perry’s of the world.
And your bang on Tucker would fight anyone and was bat poop crazy - hence the crazy eyes nickname. Lol

Thank (frank). Gudas is not only terrible at hockey, but he'd never get away with the poop he does elsewhere, here.
He's also a gigantic (frank)ing goof. |

That’s what bothered me a bit about Bunting for you guys. I think he was effective you know - but I wish he didn’t have his mitts cemented on all the time eh
Edit: Steve Webb if you Leafs fans remember was the biggest little rat coward that would lite up guys cheap and even clean but never go - no respect for that |
