So the Leafs made no roster changes, didn't change the look and feel of the team at all and are just 'running it back' this year?

Interesting I guess I dreamt all the changes that were made or we have VERY different opinions on what "run-it-back' means.

I believe it s easy to think he meant the core and coach...not peripheral players.
That said, outside if the above, the team looks like its going in a different direction. It has a different feel.

So regular season success is purely because the team is so good anyone could do it but playoff success or failure is due to the coach?

I’m certainly not saying Keefe is the best coach of all time but come on man.

What coach with lots of playoff success should they have hired to replace him then in your opinion?

Fun fact - Jon Cooper was the coach in Tampa for 6 years before he won the cup in his 7th as the full time head coach. He missed the playoffs or lost in the first round 5 times since he took the reins in the 2013-2014 season.

I didn't say replace him just pointing out the cherry picking of stats. Also, we know this has been a successful reg season team who couldn't get anything done in the playoffs when it counts.
So with that said, ya i feel almost any decent coach could have gotten the same results in the past several years. Nothing really stands out about keefe.
Now that was all under dubas......maybe keefe will have more say to do things differently under the tree. That will be interesting to see. Time will tell.

Threads at this point for me is a more controlled, quieter version of Twitter. I think I’ll keep it that way. I don’t want to hear some lame ass Habs/Sens fan opinion about their lame ass team this upcoming season.

I really only use the former bird app for Ukraine war updates, and to come across news stories not widely known yet. It’s good for that.

But I can do without everyone’s opinions of everything.

I'm pretty much over this game now.

I have a very short attention span for games in general. I've played it a few times and now I don't see any need to keep playing it.

Edit : also, rules seem arbitrary. I tried picking Brian Bellows for the 10+ goals in one playoffs. He absolutely had a 10g playoffs with the Minnesota North Stars before he briefly came to Tampa. But apparently it didn't count because he didn't do it for the Lightning. Although, the Vanbiesbrouck answer counted for the Florida puzzle a couple of days ago and he didn't do his feat while playing for the Panthers.

I can remember the inaugural roster from 1992 with more clarity than I can with the Guy Boucher years that are much more recent. It's easy for me to recall those obscure picks, but I miss the obvious ones unless I actively follow a team. Now, I pretty much just follow the division and focus on Bolts and Leafs. My days of keeping tabs on the old Norris division teams are over.

I'm not loving it as much as Skyrim so far, but I just started yesterday.

I read the ISW's daily briefing. Also, the Drive's War Zone has great coverage. I found a lot of secondary sources by clicking around on the embedded tweets in their articles.

Task and Purpose has some decent coverage also, but it's usually secondary to the War Zone.

I used to follow Prigozhin and Girkin for laughs and semi-accurate RuSSian news, but one is fertilizer now and the other is locked up and wishing he had turned himself in to the Hague.
