Nerd talk? I am wholly and completely obsessed with Baldur's Gate 3. I haven't tried Starfield yet.

I've not played BG3 but I've seen't a lot of talk on the Twitter about it. And about how they were putting out an update soon saying that the characters being overly horny was a bug and not intended.

I kinda feel the same way. I lurk on a small handful of twitter accounts to get fresh conflict updates (I'm a war wonk). Ditto for Telegram and Reddit. My only use for them is to get news I can't get elsewhere in a timely manner.

Armenia and Azerbaijan is heating up again. It would be nice if everybody could just keep their poop together and get along before everything snowballs into WWIII.

The nuclear weapons situation in the world is still really (frank)ed up.

Skyrim ruined video games for me. All I play now is occasionally some Lode Runner.

Makes sense. Skyrim was just too perfect a game that it's almost impossible to get even close to it.

I never even finished the quest or anything, I just went around committing crimes until I was ultra powerful.

It's one character in particular that's very bad - and all over you. The funny thing is that because he has longer hair and has that sort of skeezy vibe about him . . . he makes it really easy to sympathize/empathize with women at bars!

The game itself is classically D&D (although if you were ever a D&D nerd, the 5e rules that uses are a bit foreign to me) and the variations and solutions it offers to puzzles, problems, combat and so on within it's dynamic game engine are very good. Small examples are throwing down oil on the ground and shooting down a chandelier above it to create both damage and fire - or after someone is downed, you can freeze their blood pool to create a slick environment . . . it's very clever in the options it gives you.

I liked Skyrim a lot, but had 2 consecutive games that fell victim to that corruption bug where I couldn't walk anywhere near the castle without the game freezing - so both games were throw away and I'd had about . . . I don't know 50-60 hours into each and that frustration factor just stopped me from ever finishing it.

Of all the nukes floating around in the wrong hands, North Korea concerns me the most, followed by Iran. RuSSia didn't used to worry me until recently. Not because I actually think they would make good on Medvedev's drunken rants, but because they have a lot of nuclear goodies stashed all over the place with weak controls and drunk guards.

Didn't take long for Simmons to ask just a stupid ass (frank)ing question to Tavares.

That's what I've been doing on Skyrim now. I'm trying to max out every single skill tree, so I'm going around doing side quests and everything. So fun.

I've never even gotten close to maxing everything, so I wanted to give it a go.

I didn't catch the question . . . the empty podium is spewing fewer platitudes than JT but saying about as much.

It's the idea of some insane bumhole being woken up by advisors over what is in actuality a false alarm about the other guys' missiles and having a few minutes to decide what to do that bothers me.

I'll probably give BG3 a go, eventually.

Man, that's some poop. I always used to run into the bug where if you killed a guy in a cave too early, he wouldn't respawn, and future quests were impossible to complete. That's what made me quit so often back in the day. That poop was infuriating.

But I'm playing on GamePass now and that's not a problem anymore. Plus, you get the DLC quests in it and that's awesome. Love that I got my own house that I built; Lakeview Manor. Since I never got to do that back in the day.

It was about Babcock poop. Tavares did his best to not tell Simmons to get (frank)ed, so he said it's not something he wants to talk about and said it was unfortunate and sidestepped the question.

Can't wait for him to ask Marner the same dumbass question.

The thing I didn't like with Skyrim was having to empty out my chest and take stuff to go sell it. I'd sit there going how am I doing housekeeping chores in a video game? poop was too realistic.

The first time I played the game I was a Khajiit, too. Didn't pay attention and realise how much everyone in that world (frank)ing hated the Khajiit.

if a player is 35-years old or older they can be signed to a league minimum contract. The contract can be loaded up with performance bonuses, and those bonuses come off of the next year's salary cap

Patty Kane?

Would be interesting, but in a year where it will be tough to accrue any cap space for TDL it may be worth it to punt a little cap to next season. We have to hand the sens a cup next season anyways because they are a dynasty
