I think the team he signs with will come together rather quickly once the season starts. Get him to a cap hit the team can afford and then give him performance bonuses.

There is no reason for 90% of the teams that would be interested in him to wait long, it only makes it worse for them.

That's quite a prediction. I'm not quite as optimistic given this player's long track record of how he "plays" in the defensive zone.

Babcock looks through my phone, he isn't gonna see much. I barely use it and rarely take photos. My wife is the photo person in the family. There might be 2 or 3 photos on my phone. Almost no apps. Maybe 5 contacts. I hate that I even have to own one and carry it around.

Sheldon Keefe says William Nylander will start camp at centre tomorrow.
Obviously was drafted as a centre but hasn’t done too much during his time here in Toronto. Keefe wants to look at it now in a more meaningful way.

They could sign him at 750K plus performance bonuses and actually help their cap situation this year.

They could trade Jarnkrok and give him 1.5M-2M plus performance bonuses.

Bottom line is no team has to trade away players to sign Kane if they don't want to.

Like EDM did with Connor Brown. 750K cap hit with potentially up to 3.25M on next years cap.

Kanes contract will be a 35+ contract. Browns was able to be like this because of his long term injury.

Also like what the Bruins did with Bergeron and Krejci last year.

Saw a thing that said Sportsnet has 56 or something games. That sucks, so I'm hoping TSN gets all the double booked ones.

Sportsnet doesn't deserve to be broadcasting games. Their product is poop and they keep forcing Simpson on us, and he's (frank)ing abysmal.
