This team has warts and it’s supposed to be news? Lol I get you and this is how things just go.

Anyway, looking forward to others whining when the full team stumbles.

Didn't the midget line of Hoglander Dries Garland get trampled last season. Suter isn't much bigger

Canucks should claim Lassi. They have McWard playing top pairing what harm can they do?

Lassi Thomson is not good. You would beg to have Myers play with Hughes if Thomson did.

This is what was said about Lassi in a recent article of prospective RD that should hit waivers:

“…it might be worth going back to the well one more time with Lassi.
He’s an offensively-gifted blueliner with excellent skating abilities and some still-existent holes in his defensive game. He’s also got a good point-shot, which could be seen as an asset to the Canucks.”

It just doesn’t scream QH partner. Maybe for Soucy but then you will be having Myers playing with QH top minutes. That has chaos gaffe written all over it.

That middle D pairing looks better than anything we've had to round out our top 4 in a decade.

He’s an intriguing RHD. Too bad everyone ahead of Canucks will always pick those types up on waivers.

Definitely a few teams ahead that will take other teams scraps to improve their D.

I think we will be okay with the D. I think RT may drain the scoring though. Time will tell.

I think we'll score a fair amount on the PP, if we can tighten up the PK and our 5 vs 5 scoring is above average we'll be fine.

This is pretty close to opening day roster barring injury.

I’d say Joshua and Mikiyev will be on it. So 2 of DG, Aman, Stud, Hogs rotate in as extras.

If McWard keeps showing as a young Tanev then QH can carry him just fine. Irwin stays as 7D the roster is set. I think the rest of the D left is getting waived down to AHL.

For the teams 5v5 defensive play to become respectable, has to give up about 30 less goals than they did last season. Only about 10 goals less to be mid table PK team.

So if Mikiyev is back from his personal issue and practicing with the team... how come he isnt in a preseason game yet?
