Even then it's just going to be re-tool after re-tool. - A_SteamingLombardi
It is like that episode of Seinfeld where George changes all his decisions and habits, and throws away everything he has ever done in the past. He does everything differently before he has success.

I think I'll wait to see how things are unfolding during the season before I start female doging about nothing changing.
I think camp under RT has improved over the last several seasons. I'm hoping that translates to a better start in the first 15-20 games compared to the last few seasons. One step at a times and the first step is positive... we'll see if the next step is forward or not soon. |

I think QH could be fun to watch, other than that there isn’t much but we will see. |

The change will come when we trade EP40 because he's going to want 15 mil per year for 8 years and we can't afford it without gutting the team - DariusKnight

There is a decade of mismanagement to deal with, these guys are not going to turn it around in a year. This team seems more concerned about marketing the crap product they produce than improving it. We'll know what kind of team we have in a short time and like you I don't think there is going to be that much of a change. - A_SteamingLombardi
I get that about the previous regime(s), but this one had a few really good opportunities to do something different and still ended up on the same track. Trading Miller after his 99 pt season being the biggest opportunity in my opinion. Collect a few assets there, then if you trade Bo still and keep the pick (no Hronek). Finally if Petey says he wants out you get a pretty big haul for him. I know that's a rebuild, and I know that's not what the canucks do, but anything less will be the same re-hashed season as the last 5 years as many have pointed out ... and I have to agree. Signing a couple vet stay at home dmen with no one pushing from the minors on forward or D is not going to move the needle much. |

Oh I'm agreeing - they handicap for a living. I think this year they'll end up in almost the exact same spot, whether I like it or not. Maybe not as many downs and ups, but same place end of the year. Cheering for that 11th ranked 2024 prospect! |

Interesting. Former 2018 1st rounder RHD. Not sure he'd make it to the Canucks on the wire... |
