I haven't watched much lately, I've been going for out-patient treatment at the hospital for a week and not feeling like watching, they are all recorded. about 20 games for me to catch up on. Uruguay has impressed me, they pushed France pretty good but France had a lot of second stringers in. I haven't seen SA play yet either, Wales, Ireland and France have impressed me. Chile was the team that knocked both Canada and the US out of qualifying and they got hammered 71-0 by England so I'm glad Canada didn't make it.

I'm sure you'll find a way to defend this...

It’s why the odds are against them because lots of change in personnel takes time to gel. It’s rare that it’s instant. Will be more challenges because half this roster will be gone next season too.

No one is disputing that. VHG is stating the obvious. No one is complaining. Just because there isn't rainbows praising the team does not mean that anyone is crapping on them.

Too commercialized, but it's okay.

Lots of teams have bad draft picks. It really is a crap shoot. The ones that hurt are OJ and Jake. If I remember correctly though half the fan base was saying draft Jake because of how soft the Canucks were. The one that really hurt was OJ. You could hear a pin drop at the arena when they stepped up to the mic and everyone was expecting Tkachuk.

Lets hope Willander and Likker kid turn out.

Woo & Rathbone don't look too promising right now either. Sure lots of teams have made "bad picks", with VAN there's way more misses than hit's. Then you have the picks that were dealt. So here we are.

It was very strange at the time reaching for him. I always said a trade down in the pocket if wanting a certain player that will fall. Idc what fans say about how often it doesn’t work cuz it avoids picks like OJ & missing out on a sweetner.
