We will see. I have more hopes for him than Nylander at this point.

And Nylander scores, just as you were turning me away from him 😂

That whole line had a great period. Looked like CBus had trouble with DOC and Z's size.

Yager and Nieto flashed a bit early then went quiet. Yager not shy about contact for an 18 year old.

Hopefully DOC makes that jump, he's off to a good start.

Net front goal too. Good positioning. That line with DOC and big Z looks good.

I missed large chunks of the game.. It was basically on in background and even on when I left house for a few mins a few times... However, DOC and Nylander really stood out to me in a good way when I'd see them.... But just like the first few days of a camp anything positive or negative said, or seen, about the players should be taken with a grain of salt haha

Well it's not like these guys haven't played in the NHL haha. It's not really expecting too much for the two of them to form a decent third line with Accari or Eller, right? 🤣

He looked good. Not sure what his reported camp issues are, but they didn't show up today.

I really liked the response from all the guys trying to get noticed after the goalie was run over.

Was also impressed with Big Z today. He still plays a solid game. Wouldn't mind seeing a bottom 6 of Nieto-Eller-Acciari and DOC-Z-Nylander to start the year.

DOC and Nylander had the best games to my eyes too. Think that would be unanimous. Z was right there, but that was an awful turnover that led to the tying goal. Yager was pretty good too. Game honestly got boring in a good way as they tried to sit on that lead, so made it harder for guys to stand out.

Poulin has actually looked pretty good so far tonight. Looks very strong on his skates and has made a few nice plays. Hopefully he takes the next step this season.

Nice. Surprised our prospects and scrubs are playing basically even with their top players, at least on the box score.

None of the D playing tonight should see the NHL this season, except Smith. Some of the forwards look good. Pitlick has some good speed and made a great play on the Poulin goal.

Doesn’t matter how Hellberg looks. He’s an AHL goalie at best.
