so monsieur Emile with Caufield and Suzuki to start day 1.
I like it. - fidopro
They will rotate people with veteran duos, Dach and Money played with Roy, might see a switch next practice.
Edit:
or I guess not today

I was busy with work yesterday and didn't get to see any of the scrimmages but based on what I see online this morning, looks like Lias Andersson and Newhook were ready to start the training camp at full speed. |

I see it as a group of teams are set to finish in the bottom 10 group but injuries will decide who end up at the bottom.
Getting another top 5 pick from an asset point of view would not be a bad thing, Habs are still lacking a high end top 6 forward IMO. 2024 draft is expected to be a decent draft, not spectacular but there is quality in the top 6-7 players. 2025 is the draft that many scouts say will be great, expected to be a deep draft also. Habs have 11 picks in 2024 and 11 in 2025. |

oh I would not say no to a few more top5 picks, but I really don't see how Habs could finish that low. unless injuries pile up again, but 3 years in a row? nah... |

I still say the Habs will be good in 2026 Until then, develop the young guys, make a few trades to gain assets where they need to get stronger and keep drafting quality assets. They should slowly show improvement |

I know, I still find it's depressing reading people here talking about another bottom 10 or even bottom 5 but it is what it is. last year was a poop season in terms of wins but they weren't that bad throughout all those games lost all things considered, so I'll surely be entertained this year as well despite the pessimism. |

all those young guys will need time to develop, I have low expectations this year, I see it as a development year, takes time to draft, develop and have those guys ready to compete day-to-day at the NHL level. Some of those young guys are ready, some came last year and will continue to develop this year. Patience.... |

oh I am patient, I don't expect them to be the most competitive team in the East lol, but if they stay healthy I wouldn't be shocked if they battled for a playoff spot either, or even made them...
like I said, even last year I was entertained on most nights, so if they continue to develop and give a solid effort every game I'll be a happy camper. |
