Definitely the Sabres. If you're the Sabres, you don't tell Lance Lysowski because he's affiliated with a newspaper close to the Sabres and the agent would probably respond to that. You tell it to the unaffiliated person who has a big online following and is desperate for a big scoop, but is not a traditional journalist and has a niche Sabres following.

The agent isn't responding to that guy

Dahlin doesn't have to do anything to get his terms.

If he so chooses, he tells the Sabres: "These are the terms. Take it or leave it" and there's nothing the Sabres can do other than pay him or trade him.
