and perhaps 60% of the players we are playing, won't be playing for the Sabres in the regular season. for instance, 2 of the 6 defensemen tonight will be starters and maybe 3-4 of the forwards. Garbage in, garbage out. Ok.

Never thought of it as a vet privilege.

Always thought of it as a way to give the regular season number one cushy starts to ease them into things through the preseason as prep for the regular season.

Sure, but do you see any resemblance of something new Defensively, what are they just gonna turn the system on when all the pairs are together and the real games start. Looks the same are goalie's making a sh!t ton of saves or sometimes making saves.
