Defensively? Absolutely...and he does nothing to help..in fact he has been a net negative player...I mean, I guess one could consider him a suitable replacement to Olofsons -21.

He was a great player...the question is, how much does a significant injury hamper him?
We simply do not know.
Past performance is great for HOF votes, has little to do with future play after major surgery.
He could turn out to be better or worse.

the empty net goals and pk goals are usually scored and hurting the plus/minus when patty kane is on the ice and not zemgus girgensons or jacob bryson though

And was .82 PPG pace on tanking Blackhawks , while he played at a burning .60 PPG w NYR.

So is he .82 PPG -21 Patty, or .60 PPG 1. Kane.
Still haven't heard the answer ... because there isn't one.

I'd say closer to .70 PPG and -15...at what cost...$6m?

Yeah, I agree. Don't think the Sabres as Organizationaly built at this point will be that ultra physical team even in the playoffs. Sure the Sabres might turn it up a bit physicality wise, but they will have to beat teams with there skating.
