He also had a really bad play the other night in the neutral zone when he barely chipped the puck 10' off the boards right to a Leafs player instead of a good clear.

They really need to keep him up at least for the first 9 games. He's earned his spot, now let's see what he can do in the real games. He keeps surpassing expectations
