to me that doesn't really make sense, it isn't like the goalie is light years away from the refs either, they're only a few skating strides away from each other. they don't have to discuss every 5 minutes, and alternate captains are there as well.

I had heard that the PA tolerates it because relocation might mean PA members now in QC, Portland or SLC. PHX is a dog (or coyote) poop market, but players love the quality of life there.

poor ownership in both markets haven't helped. for atlanta i don't think the time was right but its a huge untapped market so i understand it to an extent.

they have (frank)ed up so much in phoenix whatever chance it had is long gone.
