I’ll say again. This is all hindsight stuff. Anyone who says they didn’t like Myers while he was here an actively playing a Flyers uniform is a liar.
- SuperSchennBros

lmao. no i was saying this when he was with the team. but think what you want.

it wasn't in hindsight when we were saying it during his first full year with the flyers. his defensive reads were terrible. but we were told at the time it was due to the coaching schemes.

Im not trying to get in an argument here, but how can you possibly think they are not in contact with him and his coaches? They are for sure telling Cutter what they would like him to work on in terms of his game. And you HAVE to be in contact with the BC coaches to do that. That is common sense. They Flyers cant be telling the kid they would like to see him do this or that and also keep the coaches in the dark about it.

Come on man, I know you love to say the sky is green if MJL says its blue, but again come on.

- MBFlyerfan

I do not know that they are in contact as it is a slippery scope with pro teams and NCCA rules. So that is how I can think they may not be in touch with there coaches. Is that a violation? I do not know?

Now are the flyers in touch with Cutter? I would certainly hope so.

BC is trying to win. If they flyers tell them they want him at wing and BC want him at center as an example. What position do you think Cutter ends up playing while at BC?

He deals in fact he says every day. He ask for documentation from others every day. So is it so wrong to ask him to provide?

it's the point he is trying to make. up to the player to listen and apply. this all started when one said you can develop star players. the other said you need to identify and draft them.

yes all players receive some development, but it is on the player to perform and apply what is being said. the old you can lead a horse to water.....

Headline reads "Philadelphia swarmed by alleged juvenile looters targeting the Apple Store, Lululemon, Footlocker and others." Nice city you got there .. may I suggest you use your nightstick officer!

It was fiery, but mostly peaceful looting though.

Im using common sense. There is no way the Flyers are in contact with Cutter, telling him what they feel like he should work on, and NOT telling his coaches what they are telling him. That would be undermining the coaching staff in my opinion.

Now they can agree or disagree on the path, yet I find it unfathomable that the two entities are not sharing information and opinions about what is the best course for both the player, BC, and the Flyers.

If they are not coordinating it would idiotic for everyone involved.

You realize that this is not like ground breaking right, we want him to play center…it’s hockey, there’s not some master plan the flyers are discussing with BC. BC is going to coach him their way, and maybe it aligns with the flyers and maybe it doesn’t. At the end of the day it’s up to the player to make the most of their opportunity wherever they are. This development myth of players stepping into the flyers building and forgetting to play hockey is absurd. Do they have the best plan regarding playing time or what have you, maybe not, but good players find ways to figure it out.

You’re lying. In fact Myers and Sanheim were pretty good together, especially the last time we made the playoffs. Nobody complained. It was Niskanen and Provorov who struggled our last playoff run, mostly Niskanen.

again I do not know the rules if they can contact his coach directly. Is is allowed? Do they do it through his family advisor? Either way I the "contact" is minimal imo.

BC has their own interest at heart, as does the flyers. That is also common sense. Do they align, more than likely though no guarantee. It is not unreasonable to say they differ on some things.

Have you heard of any examples the flyers or other teams talking to their prospects head coach or staff?

For what it’s worth, it was either a member of the Oilers staff or an agent, I forget.. was on 32 Thoughts saying the old way was to start development when they reach the AHL level but teams are getting smart and starting the “development process” the second they are drafted. To what extent they are involved depends on the team.

I plan on going to more BC games this year now that Leonard, Smith and Perreault have joined the team, so I'll let you know where he plays. But to me, Gauthier will be a winger in the NHL.

What city are you from?

City leaders across the nation handcuff the cops from doing anything.

I'm from the Boston area and though thus far we have been spared from this type of activity, it's getting worse in and around our city also.

Oh no, they are! Boston is a beautiful city and I have been happy to live here my entire life, so I really, really hope we do not tolerate this type of activity like other cities apparently have. That is what has to happen in the end, people should not tolerate this behaviour and push back loudly. The groups that do these pathetic things are small but loud, we the people have to be louder in our response.

Score reporting that we will take Joseph off Ottawa with a high prospect or first rounder to clear space. Make it happen Danny . Increasing the glut of mediocrity on this team will also be comical

A team can't just send a player to another team can they, something has to go back?
