I would've liked to see Dubois land in MTL but at the same time I'm kinda glad he didn't, sadly for such reasons.

hopefully this new generation of habs players will bring more positive in terms of what it's like to play here, and will entice other players around the league to consider MTL as a potential destination. even if they are kinda loud I think it's still a minority of fans that say dumb poop, so we need to focus on the positive.

If they start winning, players will come...or just go to Tampa or Florida or Nashville and save on taxes and enjoy the warm weather.

Replacing that doctor seems like a good first step

yeah, it might not instantly "repair" everything but the way Hughes has handled situations like Petry's and DeSmith's should start to resonate around the league, letting players know that if they play here they'll be in good hands. that kind of thing could go a long way.

we were complaining about Drouin, and rightfully so. just like we were complaining about Hoffman or Armia. last time I checked they're not ti-gars de chez nous.
noone is complaining about RHP, or Monty, or Savard.... or any player who gives his 100%.

I'm under the impression that he wasn't directly making the calls for who was allowed to play or not, but yeah they were due for a change.
