you may be right.
that'd be disappointing because like I said the talent is there. like we rarely saw for a Habs prospect tbh.

best case scenario is that they both develop to their full potential, if one of them doesn't fit in the habs' plans it makes for an interesting trade bait

I hope you're right but in my mind, Roy has a better chance of eventually becoming a Top 6 player than him.

Like Caufield, I think Roy has more of a "nose" for the net ... we saw it in the LHJMQ and the World Junior Championship.

Regardless of who's right or wrong, I think we can all agree that Roy needs to spend some time in the AHL first.

yep, but he won't need 2 years. he's closer than that imo. I'd say among the forwards he's the closest to be NHL ready with Beck. while Heineman and Ylonen are ready.

Looking forward to watch Dach with Slaf tonight!!! And Heineman with Andersson.

I’d like to see Heineman and Roy make the team.

Andersson is a 7th overall pick, he's gotta be good at something, right?

I fart wherever and whenever I need to fart.

It is just a body function.

If I poop myself, so be it.

well I know mistakes can be made and sometimes players don't pan out, but he's got to have a certain set of skills that got him to be drafted so high, no?

oh sure, but we've seen many kids drafted in the top10 unable to make the league. seems like it's the case with this one.

Monahan with Caufield and Suzuki is not a bad idea.

He can easily follow them and take care of the defensive aspects while the 2 amigos go full tilt on offense, he can also help on faceoffs if Suzuki gets thrown out of the circle.

MSL seems to want Dach as a centerman ... I like that idea also as Dach is a big boy and he will be longer with us than Monahan.

he had some pretty decent AHL numbers last year, I have zero expectations but at the same time I find it pretty odd if he can't find a role at all in the NHL. if the issue is in his head, perhaps MSL could whisper sweet nothings in his ear to get him going...

most players will probably be longer with the habs than him lol... it's frustrating though, he's a damn good player.
