...and basically after a season of having access to this- apparently I am only now working out ESPN.com.au online ... neverminding that - but not limited to the stuff just showing up on the channel - and the Hawks-Wild are on at 7AM my time tomorrow ... so it is looking like coffee and waking up with the game - about like how our clinics worked when I was doing those -getting on the ice by about 7 AM - not entirely awake ...the warm up laps were an adventure....

Yeh coach er don't expect much coherency-coordination... for the first 5 mins ...after the blood gets pumping a bit.

Anyways - happy enough - I get to see the game (watch em hold out 98 now)...

RD Lassi Thomson was waived by the Senators on Friday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.

Thomson dressed in just two games for Ottawa last year but recorded 33 points in 56 AHL contests with Belleville. The 2019 first-round draft pick has just five assists in 18 career NHL appearances.

I guess we would get the 3rd claim shot unless there is
a) Clearly a deficit in his game that says not an NHLer.
b) Lingering minor injuries
c) He is only 6' 0" -190
d) He simply cannot defend?
e) some other reason to quit on a 23 yr old.

Not with S. Jones on the point. Probably worst #1 point man in the NHL. Hawks have never had a good PP with him at the point.

It seems the roster of defensemen is pretty full in Chicago and Rockford, with more on the way.

Didn’t seem to deter them from winning their most recent 3 Cups. Good PP, bad PP…doesn’t ultimately matter this season. I’ll actually enjoy flipping on a game this year and spend more time watching it than scrolling through whatever on a laptop.

Will also be interesting to see at what levels people will lose their minds in this place this season, even though we all know a contending team is potentially 2-3 more seasons away.

ESPN+ has the game tonight. I get it through Hulu.

100% and that includes this season. They need a good structured scheme going forward, with players committed to the system.
