I'm a little disappointed over your analysis of Laffy. Give the kid a chance! Othmann definitely looks ready and I love Cuylle but he hasn't really done anything more than Laffy.

I think people have to accept he is never going to be a 1OA play driver at this point. He is probably a 3rd line 40 point winger or at best 50 point player 2nd/3rd line player.

Have not seen nearly enough improvement physically or mentally the past 3 years. Maybe he makes a huge leap this year but I do not see it. This does not mean hes not a useful player, but from where he was taken he will be considered a bust

I know someone mentioned it above but Gustafsson is looking like the steal of FA. I wish they signed him for longer than a year.

Him and Wheeler are middle of the lineup caliber guys with upside beyond that in some situations, but are getting paid like 7th D and 13th F respectively. Looking like very savvy signings by Drury.

Placed on NHL waivers today: Keaton Middleton (COL), Spencer Smallman (COL), Alex Belzile (NYR), Anton Blidh (NYR), Turner Elson (NYR), Ty Emberson (NYR), Connor Mackey (NYR), Riley Nash (NYR) and Adam Gaudette (STL).

These players have to go through waivers to be sent down. Nash was a long shot to make the roster as was the others for New York, save for Belzile. As noted, could mean Cuyllle has a shot to be the 13 man or Othmann breaks camp with the team. But to me, more than likely means Brodzinski is on the opening night roster.
