Laviolette's three seasons in WSH:

- Vanacek/Samsonov split 39/39
- Vanacek/Samsonov/Anderson split 36/18/2

So if you look at those splits then you can effectively tell that I just wasted three minutes looking them up

Haven't watched any preseason but sounds like Othman plays hard. Hes gonna be out of place if he makes the club.....

I remember when Grant Fuhr used to play like 75 out of 80 games back in the oilers heyday. But these goalies are pussies now haha

If they had a choice, I think Othmann and Cuylle would both make the team over Laf right now.

I saw him give a playoff like check to I think it was Aho of the isles, behind the net. But yea he definitely reminds me of Marchand, which would be amazing if he turns out that good.

Dude. You're talking to a guy who WAS a goalie in the 80's!! They had no structure to offer us as instruction at a young age. Coaches literally told me to "I don't know. Just try to get in front of it the best you can."

It’s probably a good thing they have no games for a week before the season kicks off. Get a week of practices in under new systems and such. I think that’s why they look so horrific at times, it’ll take some time but I think they’ll be better than last year. But question is are they good enough to beat NJ yet, idk
