Frost was 42% at the faceoff dot last night. The worst of the four lines. Which is wild to me considering we won the faceoff battle last night… - SuperSchennBros
I didn't look at the stats but it seemed to me Frost won more faceoffs than that, but I guess you can't argue with the nerds. This is an area Frost needs to improve. |

You can find this on the box score in the NHL app. It’s not a hidden corsi stat. |

They look like a dark horse with Rocky. 1 D in overtime was a revolution from Torts iron curtain. |

Yes. He’s clearly the problem with this team. Not that they play zero Defense in front of him. Maybe we can put him on waivers.. |

I have to admit. Morgan Frost looked really really good once you took all the players off the ice from the other team and on his own team and put him up against the other team’s goalie one on one. - SuperSchennBros

Frost has been inconsistent in his play, that is FACT, not opinion. When Frost started with Mike Yeo Frost he was not a good 200 foot player. He was poor on puck battles, constantly trailed the play, was timid on offense and lousy on faceoffs. Frost improved under Yeo whether you want to give Yeo credit or not. Last year under Torts Frost was still very inconsistent at the start of the year. He had a few good games but Torts wanted to see more from him more frequently and he was right to do so. Frost needed to improve and to his credit he did as the season went along. He got more confidence offensively, played a more consistent 200 foot game and battled hard for pucks. IN the offseason Frost needed to work on his face-offs and it looks like he has. This season the jury is still out on Frost. Nothing will be given to him. He needs to show that he can play consistently game in and game out. Last night he played well. The other night he played poorly. It seems to me my ability to assess a player is SPOT ON! - jd250
The overwhelming majority of NHL players are inconsistent in their play. Frost was like most young players. Needing time to develop. Yeo is not a good coach and he delayed Frost's development with his obsolete old school methods. Tortorella did the same and had to be talked to by management to play Frost and younger players more. As usual, you're late to the party and have been harping on old issues that Frost has moved past a considerable time ago. Just as there is with judging players, there is a sample size. The sample size of your player assessments have never been remotely close to SPOT ON.
Need I remind you of this comment.

He yet may be an AHL player if he doesn't play more consistently! I wouldn't count your chickens just yet ....

You're who Feanor was talking about when he made this comment on the previous page
"Checking in after a couple of weeks away and the usual dullards are still obsessed with pushing their absurd, anti-reality agendas. There can't be another team in the league where the leading ES scorer from last season is the subject of such irrational scrutiny and laughably hyperbolic criticism."
