So Newhook playing with the 2 amigos ... should be interesting to see how that works out.
- Garfield512

yeah, could be interesting indeed. a lot of people see Newhook completing that line but I'm just not sure he's 1st line material, and with Suzuki and Caufield I find they're missing an element of physicality between the three. but he looks like a very skilled player and is a good skater, so we'll see in the long run what happens.

Apparently, beers where Hogan's drug of choice. Before and after matches.

just beer? he surely took some sort of stimulant or painkiller to go with it, as did 99.9% of wrestlers back then.

Oh yeah, that goes without saying. The dude x-rays have to look like a bag of broken glass.

But I mean recreationally "he says" it was always beer.

Yeah, I would also prefer having a bigger guy to complete the 1st line ... Dach for example ... but he might be more useful as a centerman on the 2nd line.
I really like Dach, he has really come into his own since coming to Montreal, strong addition ... anyone remember Romanov?

Newhook is not a bad idea for a preseason game ... perfect time to try things out.

I'm glad I don't have to make the coaching decisions.

I do, I really liked him but with Dach's potential and with all those prospects at the blueline right now it's fairly easy to forget that he's gone lol.

the process matters more than results during the pre-season, so technically the habs are winning.

LOVE what I'm seeing from Newhook.

Seems to really find Suzuki and Caufield on the ice.

smart players usually complement each other well, I guess it's the "intellect" MSL was referring to lol.

Slafkovsky also showing some nice things, it bodes well for the upcoming season.

Yup.

Je sais que c'est juste un match hors concours...mais quand je les vois se trainer les pieds pour retourner au banc pour un changement...
