Kirby Dach is going to be habs #1 Center in the very near future.

I don’t believe he can. I think they all know he needs to go down, but won’t because they picked him 1 overall.
- QuickSCF

Wright and Cooley are not regular NHL players either yet, even Chimone Netmetse (thanks Pierre) spent a year already in the minors.

I also think that Slaf should spend time in the AHL, don't ruin him before it's too late (ie. Galchenyuk), he needs to adjust to the North American ice and speed.

Very possible. He might be our player with the highest ceiling.

That Dach trade is looking more and more like a steal in my book ... as much as I liked him with the 2 amigos, he's much more effective as a centerman.
I now understand why MSL keeps him at center.

He's big, he can skate and he can carry the play ... now it's a matter of completing those lines by finding good wingers for him and Suzuki.

Will Roy eventually fill that role? ... not sure yet but it's promising.

Now that our D core has been pretty much drafted, we need to find top notch elements to complete the 2 top lines (I can see trades coming eventually).

- Garfield512

it's not impossible to think he'll become their #1C, ahead of Suzuki

He'll start the year in Laval.

But he's gonna play in the NHL this season at some point. Looks great out there.
