It would be insane if they waived Zamula. He's easily one of the 7 best dmen on the roster, and all the other D prospects (Andrae, Attard, Ginning, Grans) are waiver exempt.

My opinion of Attard is that he is one dimentional with no defensive awareness. He's 24 and should be further advanced. I think he will be a career AHLer.

It absolutely will deter teams. That's a lot of money for a 4th line role player. Top teams even with the cap going up won't be interested in carrying over a million in dead cap money just to get a 4th liner for one playoff run. Teams will need that cap space to pay other players. It's the cap that is an issue, not his value as playoff depth.

I didn't say he couldn't be moved. I said it will be difficult to move him. Meaning that his cap hit and his future term will limit the market.
