Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself more than anyone else? I didn't see the game yesterday, but they had to go to OT to beat a team that lost the week before 37-3 at home. I didn't realize that the Deadskins scored on the last play of the game. They should have went for two and put the Eagles out of their misery. I'm surprised riverboat Ron sissied out. Also, the Eagles struggled mightily to beat the Pats while the Cowgirls absolutely dismantled them. Thanks!

Someone seems to like Attard although I really don't know why. He just doesn't look like an NHL defenseman to me. I'm hoping Andrae makes the team out of camp, but who knows.

Do you know what the level of competition looks like now verse when a guy like Panarin was playing and even back to ovechkin? Is the league better now, worse, different Style?

Good up-ice. NHL caliber point shot. Struggles with defensive reads: opponents getting behind him, gaps, crossovers, plays developing from behind the net. He's improved from when he was strictly a rover but he still has work to do to get up to an NHL average defender. Still a bit raw defensively at 24.

He just looks lost on the ice to me. Just doesn't seem to think the game at the NHL level. Perhaps it's just me and then again perhaps it's not.

What a nice goal.

MM is nowhere near as direct and dynamic as Bedard in the way he attacks... but the way he sets the table, the forethought and planning... he knew exactly where that sequence would end up before the puck even crossed the blueline... and he made sure his stick was there... and he has the hands to finish it off.
