Now they'll try to sell us on a guy they don't really believe in and were dying to move on from over the summer. They are getting good at the speech, some people believe it.

I don't read that much into it. If this was going to be his last game, that's what it would look like as well. I'd read more into it if they held him out, along with Tage and Skinner.

Do they put him on 1RW and slot Tuch down on L2?
Do they keep Tuch at 1RW, and Benson goes on L2?
Do they put Mitts on L2 and Benson goes on L3?

Can't wait for Savoie to join the boys on the ice.

Kind of normal, isn't it? Giving a few kids an extra game and keeping a few vets at home?

Since SirFallsAlot and Slopokso are the consumate leaders and virtually invaluable to the org, why wouldn't they waive them both to send them down to Rochester to play on the Amerks and drive that professionalism to those who really could benefit the most on how to be a professional hockey player. They could have 20 guys soaking that info in for a year while saving the big club an additional $2.2m+ on the Cap.
Oh well, missed opportunity ... there is always next season I guess.

All it says to me is they opted to give him a game over those 2. Ryan Johnson is going as well. They earned the game. If they both go down Thursday, I won't be surprised.

They're sending the oldies too, which tells me this is a ramp up game for the season.

Otherwise I dont think they send KO, Johnson or have clifton make his debut here.

I think Tage and skinner have played 1 more game than the rest of the core but i havent checked.
