A team should always take a shot on a former 1OA at a discounted price but while watching him, he's a hyped up Olofsson who is himself a discount Laine: Perimeter hockey player who disappears for stretches at a time.

It was also one of my concerns with ullmark but not to the degree of those two. When he went down he wasn’t great at recovery. Once he got good structure that took away the secondary chances he excelled. Buffalo with this d “structure” needs an athletic quick type goalie. UPL is not that guy.

Also didn't really happen. Joker is still in the top-4 and Cliffy hockey has never been in this role. EJ and Sammy are an upgrade over Bryson and Lyubushkin on pair 3 so we have that going for us, which is nice

The coyotes, flyers and blackhawks are top 10 in xga/60 at 5v5 this pre-season. Sabres are in the bottom 5, with the lightning and bruins.

The defense may very well be bad again this year, but the pre season is not an indicator of that.
