By most accounts, Dahlin is the true leader of the team, so I'd go with him.

Assuming he 'wants to be here'.

Dahlin no doubt, absolutely no doubt. He IS the heartbeat of that team. He challenges others in practice, he drives the play both ways. Leader on and off.
Tuch and Cozens should be Alternate Captains.

Dahlin is the antithesis of Eichel.

I think it's an easy answer: they are a respected veteran presence more so than leaders.

Dahlin's played 5 full seasons. Needs a 6th to wear a C?

The signs were there his draft year but he just keeps getting better.
