It's a good stat, but Dallas being #2 shows the flaws. They've played the bottom of the league so far, once they played the 9ers, things will come crashing down.

They aren't as cool as Kulich vs Jost or Benson vs Olofsson, but it is a positive sign. Most years we had a bunch of nobodies in the bottom6, battling AHL lifers for spots. Now, I see fringe NHLers battling other fringe NHLers. Next year it'll be fringe NHLers against blue chip prospects. The battles will only get better.

I do like Krebs, I want better for him than stone hands and slokoposo on his Wings. I mean with as many prospects coming I would like to know if Krebs has more than 4C or give him Biro and Rousek to work with there atleast.

Okposo is a good enough hockey player, he had 20 goals the year before last. He's an excellent passer as well.

Lion eater has hands of stone, but still has a spot based on his defensive prowess.

That's what a 4th line kinda looks like in the nhl.

They look to be giving Benson a real shot, which is what we hoped would happen if someone earned it. So that is encouraging. I don't think Johnson will be far behind but playing top minutes in Roc for a few weeks/months might benefit him and the team moving forward. Hopefully he can make the tough decision when he has to.

The depth will be good this year. Forward goes down, guys like Jost can play or guys like Kulich, Rosen, or Rousek can take a spot. Defenseman goes down, Johnson. Goalie? We have 3 of them already with other backups in the wings. 82 game season means a lot of attrition and depth is a nice thing to have for sure.

It sucks for Savoie and his shoulder injury. Benson is essentially playing into the Savoie role for this year.

It’s a good problem to have but stinks for Savoie. Never got to show what he had due to injury.

Perhaps Mittelstadt is traded before his next deal and it pushes Krebs to 3C?

Wouldn't count on it. They'd never get proper value.

UPL, Benson, RyJo, Kulich, Rosen, Savoie and Biro weren't even thought of last year, so not sure what that means. Most will go back, but the fact there's competition is a good thing, no?
