Would Drysdale for Laf be deal both would like? Just hearing that drysdale is ina bit of a tiff with the ducks org - Slimtj100
I don't think Anaheim would even consider that. Drysdale almost matched Lafreniere's point total playing defense on one of the worst teams in the league. I think he's got significantly more upside/value than Lafreniere at the moment.

Zib also was trying to shutdown Hischier and Hughes. Which he did a pretty good job of when all was said and done
I agree with you Tom!! It’s amazing what people don’t notice in/on players sometimes. We have problems, but Zib surely isn’t one of them - Slimtj100
Zib is not a problem. Just the entire team as a whole is bottom 10 5v5. They finished 3rd like that last year. If they are top 12-15 they should be even better
Look. This is not an indictment of Mika’s talent or what he has meant to the team. But I’m not sure the same level of hunger is there. And as my post indicated, he’s far from alone in that obersevation. - OLDSCHOOL#6
I think he wants to win, but hes been a PP merchant a lot of the times. Disappeared against the devils last year
Not buying it, I haven’t seen anything in his game since last February that gives me any confidence he’s ready to be the player he needs to be for this team. Time will tell. - OLDSCHOOL#6
I guess that's your prerogative, but when a dozen or more people tell you that you're perspective is flawed will you empty your cup and reassess, or will you just tell us that you know better?
'Cause by just about any metric you choose, Mika lands somewhere around top 12 to 20 centermen in the NHL and therefore the world. I am aware that his (and his teammates) playoff performance cannot be acceptable, but I'm not sure what it is you expect from the guy.

Like them or not, this a core that Has walked into the GM office on interview day and put the dagger in two coaches. Blah, blah metric.
It’s time to put up or shut up.
And I didn’t say I knew better eh? It’s just my opinion.

Well, you were proven wrong in your opinions about his final month of the season and his performance from February on and your response was "I don't buy it." So, yes. You did say that you know better. I said your perspective was flawed. That implies opinion.
You are offered evidence that shows you're wrong and reply with "blah, blah metric." So, you either know you are wrong and don't care. Maybe just to be annoying? IDK. Or, you are unaware of being wrong, but still think you know better than those who offer insight or empirical evidence to the contrary.
Sounds like it might be time for you to put up or shut up, too.

Pretty much. He bought a sprawling piece of property in Texas and has an animal sanctuary for exotic animals. But it's big to for him to hunt his own meals/meat of native wildlife in America.

Ah, high-fence hunting. A Texas staple. All the fun of hunting with none of the challenge.

Here is my only issue with Zib. Win or lose he looks like he has the same emotions. When you are one of the top 3 leaders on the team, show some damn emotion. Ill go back to the Mess, Graves, etc teams. Those guys were emotional, you knew they hated losing. Honestly, other than Trouba, can you say that looking at most of the current guys after a loss, you knew they lost?

Kreider. After the 2022 ECF he was on the verge of tears, because he knew how close that team came. Also the ipad moment on the bench. Not everybody can be expressive. I don't think Leetch was. Doesn't make him bad, just not his personality.

Yeah, I'm not saying Zib is a bad player by any means, just pointing out the one thing that irks me. I want to see players that are emotional.
You are right about Leetch he was quiet. Funny thing, I was watching someone old games and I don't remember him being as nasty as he was in some of those games.

That's my bad. I wasn't implying you were. I get what you're saying the Rangers have a way more reserved personalities, that guys will snap every once in a while. that's both good and bad.

Yup. I don't want an Avery in every player, going nuts all the time , but a bit more emotion would be nice. Just something personally I'd like to see.

Not this year, but I do think both Cuylle and Othmann can be wieners and mean that in the best way possible. Saw it a lot with Othmann in Juniors.

Yeah, just from some of the replays I saw, he looks like he might quickly become a fan favorite. And it doesn't even have to be a pest like that. Chytil shows a ton of emotion, even though he gets a ton of crap on here. Not from you and me though
