These people are perfectly trained and ready to be on the field so it's fine.

Hey Gents!

Always happy to see Toronto lose to the Habs,

Quick question, how is Heineman looking?

That Dach is starting to play like the player Chicago hoped he would be when they drafted him at #3 in 2019?

Love that lineup Karine. I think it's going to be close to what we see.

Ylonen might have found himself a chair by playing well on the PK, something we didn't expect from him.

Oh and Gallagher, as much as I love him, hasn't looked like one of our best 12 forwards. Of course he'll play but that 4th line is where he should be for sure.

Heineman also had his best game yesterday, lots of hard shot on net, the man can score.

- Scabeh

kinda hope, like someone was saying yesterday, that its because its only preseason

I like your top 9.

Not sure it's opening night lineup.

That 4th line? Terrible.

I'm still convinced that Habs will be making 1-2 moves before the 1st game.

Agreed, we miss a tough guy in there, pez is a big Meh in that category

I'm also wondering if this is a legit 2nd line.. but it's kinda working right now.
- WaterBoy

might be early, but you can deifnitly see they are thinking juraj with Dach is the future since Coco will remain with Suze

the sooner the 2nd line works, the better it will be for the 1st line that wont always face the best defenders !

After the first goal, I though Allen looked OK last night.

But he just cannot allow that first goal (and WiFi was sort of to blame on that, as well).

Agreed. Big softie on the first goal, looked fine on the others.

Montembault's stats are dreadful but most goals against him were grade A chances so I'll give him time.

Primeau looked good, but it'll take more than that to steal a job imho.

I'd rather use the word "energy players". That and great PK guys.

Quite sur Habs will have a decent 2nd line.

Newhook, Anderson and Monahan are probably gonna rotate in and out of the top 2 lines. Let's not forget Dvo. His presence in the lineup will be a +

Kovacevic is having a really good camp btw.

No doubt he's in the lineup when the season begins.

yeah, I think people are quick to push him aside once Mailloux and Reinbacher join the team. he'd fit perfectly on the 3rd pair imo

I can live with his mistakes here and there if playing on the 3rd pair.

Guhle and Matheson are paired together.

So that leaves us with:

Matheson-Guhle
Harris-Savard
Xhekaj-Kovacevic

I was surprised he stuck last year, after waivers, but he and Harris quietly had a really good year playing together as a pairing.

Nothing exciting, just steady play.

Good find.
