(Brossard) L’attaquant Sean Monahan et le défenseur Gustav Lindstrom ont raté l’entraînement du Canadien de Montréal, mercredi, profitant plutôt d’une journée de traitements.

Le Tricolore a publié l’information sans offrir plus de détails. L’équipe avait toutefois indiqué lundi que Lindstrom était aux prises avec une blessure au haut du corps et que son état de santé est réévalué de manière quotidienne.

Pour sa part, Monahan a affronté les Maple Leafs de Toronto, lundi. Il a récolté deux aides dans une victoire en prolongation de 5-4 du Canadien.

Monahan a été limité à 25 matchs la saison dernière en raison d’une blessure à un pied, puis d’une autre blessure à l’aine. Il a récolté six buts et 11 aides.


Par ailleurs, les attaquants Alex Newhook (haut du corps) et Joel Armia (haut du corps) se sont entraînés sans restriction au Complexe sportif CN, mercredi matin. Christian Dvorak (dos) a patiné avec ses coéquipiers, mais portait un chandail indiquant qu’il devait éviter les contacts.


Le défenseur Mike Matheson (bas du corps) s’est aussi entraîné sans restriction.

Le Canadien devait prendre la direction de Mont-Tremblant après l’entraînement. Il s’entraînera à l’aréna Gilles-Cadieux jeudi et vendredi, avant de compléter son calendrier préparatoire avec un duel contre les Sénateurs, samedi, à Ottawa.

Il commencera sa saison mercredi prochain, face aux Maple Leafs, à Toronto.
