Been there, done that. Helps me fall asleep, but it's the staying asleep that's the problem. And once I wake up, if I can sleep again within an hour, that's a good night. Usually it means I'm up again for a few hours, though, and I can't quite keep popping sleep meds all night. Zopiclone, Trazedone, imovanve... Tried them all. Up next is Silenor.

damn... and I think you already mentioned weed isn't your thing either, right? it helps treat insomnia for a lot of people but I know that for others it basically does the opposite.

I sleep, but tend to have crazy dreams, and wake up tired from it all.

yeah, your sleep is probably more efficient naturally, without any THC. we were talking about this not too long ago but for me the only time I clearly remember my dreams is if I don't smoke up before going to bed.

Strange how it effects people, might be because I rarely use it.

Who knows.

Good luck.

He was brutal for me last year... just absolutely brutal. Even as a Ranger.

Maybe he is all fixed up, will be interesting to see where he lands, as most of the contending teams do not have cap space.

yeah, you do not want to see me smoke some weed

melatonine can help, but staying asleep all night can be tricky at times

I think melatonin is supposed to be a more natural way of re-balancing your sleep cycles, since it's a substance that your body produces, but in a lot of cases of insomnia it doesn't resolve the issue at all.

Agreed ... before retiring, I used to do programming until late in the evening.

Took me hours to "turn my brain off" and I'd be dead tired the next day.
Not healthy.

What does wonders for me is to put a baseball game on TV ... I'm usually snoozing before the 3rd inning.

I don't like flying either but yikes!, London to Calgary must be a damn long flight.

Longest I've done is Montreal to Nice (France) ... I was bored out of my skull as I can't sleep in moving vehicles.
