Pete Walker, Jeff Ware, David Howell, and Mark Budzinski are basically the only guys who should have job security going forward.
Everyone else needs to be heavily evaluated, starting with the immediate firing of Atkins. He's had enough leeway.
EDIT: Unless David Howell came up with the "strategy" on how the pitchers were used in the playoffs. Then he should be gone, too. |

As much as I don't want to tell you you're right about _anything_, this did have a pretty big impact in the clubhouse. I don't know if it affected on-field performance, I really don't - but I know that it wedged up the clubhouse a bit. There were guys who vocally sided with Bass on this.
