I heard from a super genius it’s the best way. Analytics said Minny was the easier go. Yep.

And surprisingly he was wrong again.

The Berrios pull was odd. But i dont think thats only a Schneider decision.
if he had much to do with it at all.

but you are not going to win every game 1-0..so its not like it really mattered

Well, at least we can all stop pretending that we give a poop about baseball.

Am I the only one who solely watches hockey and no other sports? Just curious.

- GalacticStone

No football?

I watch hockey, and keep up with the raps when the leafs aren’t playing. Watch every Sunday afternoon golf tournament. Watch a lot of football and follow the jays through the summer but don’t watch a lot of games.

No, but chasing a game rather then being tied feels like a better position to be in. I don’t watch enough baseball but wouldn’t that change your strategy a bit?

Anyone involved in it should be fired, a completely assinine move. Simply no justification for it. Unless berrios was getting rocked.
Then the incompetence of vlad, my gawd.

Baseball is great to watch.
I dont watch a whole lot of hockey anymore, use to be every leafs game, lately its about 40%.
Ill watch most Jays games if i can.
As for other sports, ill watch a bit of soccer with my younger son and the odd late night cornhole championship that is on as filler.
No football, cause its garbage....maybe the Grey cup final if argos are playing.
Ill avoid crap like golf and tennis.
Basketball if the raps are playing in the playoffs, but i cant stomach a whole game.

I went to a couple of Bucs games as a kid back in the 80's during the Doug Williams era. My dad and uncles were really into football. It just never stuck with me,

well of course you would rather be tied than losing.
we dont know what would have happened if they left Berrios in. so not much point debating it. The Jays didnt score. so even if they were only able to get 1 run...they still lose

it doesnt bother me like it seems to bother most.

the pitchers gave up 2 runs...should be enough.
the Jays scored 1 run in 2 games. there are bigger issues

I went to a Yankees spring training game back in the 90's and saw Darryl Strawberry use his cocaine superpowers to hit a ball out of the park and into traffic on the adjacent Dale Mabry highway. Got drunk as a monkey that day and had a good time.

Saw a couple of NFL (Bucs) and MLS (Rowdies) games in my preteen years back in the early 80's. But those sports never really interested me. I am drawn to the speed, randomness, and violence of the NHL. If NBA players were allowed to beat the crap out of each other and not get ejected, I might start watching. Put NFL players on razor blades and have them fly around at 30mph and I might start watching.

Also, time for the jays to move on from celebrating like crazy for simply "making"....or really getting lucky to get into the playoffs.
Have a few pops sure, but no more of this over the top party celebration. Its embarrassing, specially when you get in 28 hrs.
Ok moving on.

Same. I don't know how people that follow all the major team sports do it. I catch a couple halfs of football a season, other than that I watch cycling and fishing videos on youtube. If remote control car racing or ping pong is on I'll watch that for a few minutes. Oh and I like watching horse races live but I don't follow it. I just bet on whatever horse' name has something to do with cheese.

Cool.

I guarantee that dman wouldnt get picked off on 2nd like that in a playoff game.
Fire atkins

Give all of vlads money and then some to Ohtani.
The yanks and bosox will be better next season, so i doubt we'll see the jays back-door their way into the playoffs again.

I'm pretty sure "Coked up Strawberry" was on the dessert menu at the Rainbow Room in the 1980s.

would love Ohtani
I saw that he will not be pitching in 2024, curious how that effects his value or length of the contract

The relievers that Schneider brought in over the 2 games gave up 1 earned run in 10 innings.

No one is questioning the relievers he brought in on a game 1 and you know this.
Its the game 2 decision with berrios...which seems to be from management and Schneider was in on it.
