Maybe they want the preseason cup? Idk but I can’t remember the rangers ever looking great in preseason. New coach, new system. I need at least a 15 game sample before I get worried.

The only one I will say maybe is quick. Cause he hasn’t looked great the last few seasons. He could just be cooked

The game is getting faster every year. His reflexes get slower. He may not last the season, it’s possible. I guess Garand has BUG potential this year anyway.

Beating the devils is definitely not gonna be easy no matter when it is. They are going to get tougher and tougher to beat

I drafted a bestball hockey team and picked the kid line and Hughes and Bratt. Mika, Fox and Shesty also

I think if Shesty is really on his game we can steal some games til they find their groove. He did that two years ago and not so much last year, early on in the season

Wow brutal game but it is pre-season with a new coach and system. They have to get a good 15-20 games so they can adjust. As long as they can go at least .500, they will make the playoffs.

My biggest concern is LaFail. We were all hoping he would break out this season and show us that he would live up to his #1 pick status. He looked like poop in these games. Yes it is preseason for him too but he skated with no fire or enthusiasm. Will he be the other #1 pick to be a bust behind Yakupov in the last 25 years???? All the other Number ones have had or are still having stellar careers.

I never get concerned how they play in the preseason being indicative of how they will start the regular season BUT, I tell ya, I can’t remember the last time we had a preseason this bad lol. You want them to win no matter what game it is especially when they are playing the Devils & Islanders. The Devils look like they are going to run off with the presidents trophy with how good they look. Hughes looks like he’s slated for the Hart.

Panarin doesn’t really look to enthused playing these games and same can be said for the majority of our top players. I’m sure they just don’t want to get hurt. In saying that we should all be closely watching our top 3 of Mika, Panarin, and Kreider because if they don’t continue to perform and the “kids” who aren’t kids anymore don’t take another step forward we are in for a long long season.

I will say this, better hope Lindbom or Garand force there way out of the AHL/ECHL. Cause Jonathan Quick is not an NHL anymore.

Laf seems better than yak. He just looks like a current 3rd line player.

Most fans are at their last nerve so the the core vets not leading the charge enough and the kids not taking the next step. 3 different coaches for this core. Eventually players will be shipped out if they don’t progress. Will be a slow team out of the gate for sure
