Could you imagine Kakko being MVP caliber this year? Out of nowhere but he has that potential, you can see glimpses. Not many have that shot he just scored on and he has power. Maybe a less aggressive Tkachuk would be huuuuuge for this team

Team looks competent tonight. Honestly, the Rangers have matched up pretty poorly with the Isles for years and now the Devils have their number too. Nice to play some different teams, especially one that on paper is better and have success.

The devils have everyone’s number and I can’t stand it. The cap won’t even be an issue for them for the next 2-3 seasons

Cuylle will make the team in large part due to pitlicks injury but he needs to be glued to the top 9. He’s solid. Like, really solid. He did not stand out like this last preseason or in the 4 games he got in the regular season

They’ve had a pretty incredible rebuild and are just going to keep getting better. Speed up and down the lineup which is a pretty big concern I have with the Rangers and their prospect pool besides maybe Sykora.

Team has looked better tonight but Zib, Trocheck, Kreider, and Panarin all still without a memorable moment this preseason.

Had our darft last night and grabbed Kakko, until...the commish paused the draft to say he took him 3 rounds before. Seems there were two KK on the board.

They just don’t look crisp at all yet. Need only at a way quicker pace. Not skating but puck movement. Chytl will help big time on 2nd line.

It’s pretty funny Lavy wasn’t happy postgame for the rangers playing too much East to west hockey. Does he not know what he signed up for? As long as Panarin, Zib and Fox are the ones leading the team they will always play that style lol
