Post it after I post:
The analytics showing they are getting dusted and the rant I post calling for another rebuild. |

Should you, an NYR fan, put much stock into preseason on-ice shot & chance attempt results? Probably not.
Will I still post said on-ice results? You bet.

Team has looked better tonight but Zib, Trocheck, Kreider, and Panarin all still without a memorable moment this preseason. - TC88
Kreider's blueline pick that led to a breakaway goal? He's been good. Panarin and Trocheck I agree - Zib has been a one trick pony on the PP but hasn't been bad.

If things don’t go right this year, another rebuild is the only option lol |

That line needs him, because 20-93 got caved in when factoring scoring chances for/against & corsi for/against in the pre-season. |

Thanks, forgot about that one. But you’re right about Zib and the PP. Team need to learn to be more threatening 5 on 5, otherwise our star players just blend in. |

This chart validates what the eye test has shown. Kakko is ready to breakout, Laf… not so much. Cuylle and Othmann deserve to be on the opening night roster. Gustafsson has been a huge surprise. Our stars need to be much better. |

I am fine with Cuylle making the team. I honestly don’t want Othmann on it. Let him go to the ahl and play first line minutes and dominate. Then with all the confidence he can come up in a few months. If he starts here he may be penciled to 8 mins a game on the 4th line. It does no good for anyone. Plus you need to give Laf a real chance in regular season games. You are not writing him off cause of preseaon lol |

Can't have Laf be the 13th forward, because if you do the whole thing is (frank)ed. But I do agree. Othmann and Cuylle should be in vs Buffalo. Problem is one of them more than likely ends up on the 4th line.

since Othmann and Cuylle are the only two forwards who dont have to clear waivers, I don't think there's a chance they are both here
I predict Cuylle stays, Othmann goes down, but he could be called up quick

Can we send Laf down? I can't remember if he has a 1 way deal. Would be good for him to at least play in the AHL and build his confidence.

Not waivers exempt. And if the rangers gave him away for nothing, I'd go nuclear on this blog. Not nuclear towards anybody, but towards the organization. Because there was a move they made this pre-season that end a transaction line. That made me laugh but also annoyed. |
