Iirc he was often used with Marino - 10inchTerror
I say that, but he spent time with Makar and Hamilton in the past. He might just be mid and that was the only guy we could reasonably get on the market who wasn't dog poop. |

I know Eller is limited offensively, but the other areas of his game look fine to me. Playing with DOC and a rotating RW should be fine. Not world beating, but I think they will be a net positive. |

I’m actually impressed with his play so far. The way people were talking about his play last year I was expecting a corpse. |

Seems to be an all around good depth centre who consistently pots 10-15 goals |

Yah like Thorn said I wasn't expecting anything, but time will tell. Right now he looks consistent and strong on D. If DOC can get chances like he has been the third line could be decent. |

So harkins and white. What do you think the odds are. I kind of like both.
Isn’t the guy in horrible bosses named harkins? |

He had a ton of chances the game I went to last week against Buffalo. It's not going to be consistent, but he does a good job even in a lesser role. |

I was hoping to see a bit more of austin wagner than DOC - i'mjustafan
Lol this didn't age well. I feel like I've been waiting a year to see if DOC could translate his production in the A into a top nine role. He's looking great so far, those were both confident goals.
Also like Harkins so far. The team has needed someone who just plays like an ahole for a while. Looks like he's competent with the puck on his stick too. I don't want to read too much into a strong AHL year at 25, but it at least gives you hope he has decent hands to go with that size, speed, board work, and nasty streak. |

DOC is your boy Tojo, no doubt. You've definitely been his biggest supporter and been the most hopeful of his development. Hopefully he can keep this going when the games matter.... |

I agree his type of game is needed on this team. I think with what he’s showed and the fact he’ll have to be put threough waivers to be sent down that he will stay on the team, maybe as the 13th forward when Jake is back. I like white as well. I think at the least he has earned an ahl contract and will be one of the earlier call ups. |

Or he’s played less than 100 total minutes with Letang and just needs time to figure out a partner who’s notoriously hard to play with.
Let’s give it 20 games and then start panicking. |

He’s being a Richard about your semantics (frank) up since he’s on an NHL contract. Assuming you meant that he’s earned a spot on our AHL team. |

Yea I've liked Harkins as well. Good cheap option. Rutherford or Hextard would have signed him to 2.5 for 5 years lol |

This, we gotta give it time. And same with the PP, because Jake hasn't even played with them yet either. |

I think the new system and partner is definitely part of it. Hopefully he settles in.
it’s the same with Smith. He’s just kind of there right now. Not awful but not really noticeable either.

White is on a pto. I imagine he will earn at least an ahl contract, probably a 2 way, and be one of the earlier guys called up.
I assumed he’s smart enough to think things through on his own. |
