Giving Iran $6 billion seems like a good idea now

Holmberg, Minten, Nickie would all work. But Timmins goes down when he’s healthy and Laggeson (sp) or Kokkenen or Benoit or a waiver pickup is #7

I’d go Holmberg all day. Such a solid player in all zones.

Minten looks like a player for sure. Needs to play in Kamloops and wear a red leaf on his chest at Christmas - best bet for development to me.

Robertson = real good AHL player in my opinion and can fill in (injuries) throughout season…better to package him out tough give him a change of scene

Agree on Minten. Keefe already making he’s gone notices “if we could keep him for a bit, we would” type statement.

I don’t see any reason to move Nickie. He’s not washed up at 22 and these are the first games he’s played in a long time. Put him on the Marlies.

Ya man I hear that - If a team wants Robertson though in a deal fir a dman that would move the needle I’d do it for sure but he is a good call up who is kinda sorta familiar with the system and players for quick gel in that scenario

If he got that kind of return, great. I think that’s very unlikely though so might as well keep him.

Sorry I was thinking if he needs to be included. He definitely won’t get anything that improves the Buds on his own.

Sure, he could easily end up more valuable as an add in than what he turns out to be on the ice. I’ve always be up and down with him but maybe he’ll get a stretch of time where he’s healthy and shows us more.

I would platoon Timmins and Gio.. Gio is gettting old and Timmins needs to play so you can see what you have in him.

Kids U13 team just lost 3-1 to Seattle 😢

The U11 team just beat Penticton, who is coached by Duncan Keith😁

If it’s Timmins then they probably have to move a forward whose cap hit starts with a $2. They have sometime to sort this out before Timmins returns and maybe there’s a convenient series of trips to LTIR but as it stands now, someone needs to go

I don’t think timmins is going anywhere. They need him more than a jarnkrok.

Gio can sit for timmins

Definitely moving Jarnkrok gives them more cap flexibility and allows them to go with 7 D. Maybe Timmins is that guy. Maybe there’s a waiver pickup that fits

That's an interesting trade. It doesn't fix the cap issue. Seems another trade is coming.

I guess one could say the trade with Chicago is now a 1st and a 2nd for a 5th and McCabe. Taking into account that the transaction was a deadline deal, do you think McCabe and a 5th are worth the leafs 1st & 2nd round picks?
