Poor goaltending will ensure the Habs get another to 10 pick this year. If they cut their injuries down from last year they will be better (more competitive games) But it is hard to say the Habs have had a promising rebiuld going until they find an NHL caliber goalie of the future. If you do not have solid goal tending in the NHL you basically have nothing.
I do think the Habs should be fun to watch just do not expect much in wins

Last night's game was not on the d, but more on forwards not being defensively aware.

That is where the pain on the team is currently... and still 1 easy goal given up per game so far, which is a killer.
