Sure feels like Benson might take some opportunities away from him, maybe Quinn + JJ too. Hopefully not Kane.
Mitts playing well in a reduced role and putting up fewer points could be a good thing. - Lunaion
if cozens is on the first pp with tage
that second pp centers around casey and power

It is if we like him, it's probably the only way he stays long term. Gotta hit a low mark this year and have Keeps Everyone Adams resign him on the cheap. |

I still don't think Benson is here longer than 9 games. And I have Quinn penciled in on the top 6, Peterka is the one who I think goes up or down depending on how he's doing at the time |

What did you guys think of Dorian Williams yesterday? I thought he held his own after being like WTF when I saw he was coming in for Milano. Baptism by fire. - Hatboro_Swords
He was benched after missing something like 40% of his tackle opportunities. McDermott basically said this in his press conference 10 minutes ago. Elam was benched too, of course.

had some huge catches as well

He's been better this year than last year obviously but if this offense wants to win a super bowl he can't be relied on in big spots. He's proven too many times he can't be 100% trusted.
He should be getting 3-5 targets a game. Not 7 |

21st in yards
tied for 4th in tds
more 20 plus yard plays than diggs
top 10 in yards per play - homiedclown
These are Josh Allen stats.
If Diggs were to go down and Davis was the #1 we'd be in enormous trouble. |

Thinking this could end up being one of the last 7/8 year deals on the team for the next little while (first compete window).
At some point they'll have to give consideration to the short term and maximize space. I think the 7 or 8 year deals will be reserved for opportunities where they may be able to save on AAV by just betting on talent before the results show up.
Only guy I can think of that fits this is Benson. Small chance they could convince Quinn to do it given his injury history (he may want security) but I wouldn't if I were him. |

I don't think this is 9 games unless he crashes and burns. If Skinner or Tuch miss some time, he's the first option now.

It's going to come down to how he looks in the 9 games, no way of making a definitive decision now.
Worst case scenario: He isn't ready and is sent back, Savoie takes his place after a conditioning assignment in Rochester. Then you give Savoie a look and if he's not ready, it's Rousek or Biro's chance.
Best case scenario: He's really good and sticks. Then there's a decision to be made on Savoie, unless he replaces an injured player, or the 3rd goalie debacle changes.
I think if either or both of them look ready there would be no hesitation to keep them considering the sh!t show there junior club currently is

you can say that for kc if kelce goes down
miami if hill goes down
chargers if allen goes down
cowboys if lamb goes down
etc
philly is probably able to go w/o aj brown and the 49ers w/o one of their big 4

krebs has a lot of spunk lately
if he gets 35 points and continues to get in people's faces and is open to a long term deal on the cheap
I could see him getting 6-8 years at 3.5-3.75 per
stability for bottom 6

Peterka, Quinn, Benson, Savoie.

Could you see them giving Mitts + Krebs long term deals with all these kids coming next year? I know they like them, but something gotta give soon. Can't like everyone.

Yeah this is a good point and I had considered it before. I go back and forth cause it ultimately comes down to what his role is moving forward. If they tell him he'll get more of a look in the top 9/more offensive usage it might be worth his while to wait. |

Peterka isnt getting an 8 year deal unless he pops off big time. Quinn probably bridges.
I'm not even sure Savoie is good (sorry). Benson I buy. |

If it's accurate that Mitts is 1 additional season from UFA, there's no room left for a bridge.

There's been a lot of talks about how good bottom 6, defensive forwards are tough to come by. Krebs still has a ways to go, but if he takes that next step...I think this is a pretty rock solid plan. Stability is right. The guys apparently love him too.
Doesn't hurt he played with Savoie and Benzy either. |

Not necessarily.
Ryan Hartman just signed a 3 year deal, can’t see why Mitts would completely leave it off the table.
Guess we’ll see where we stand 12 months from now |
