Joker, UPL, Mitts
Levi, Quinn, JJ, Krebs
Maybe you don't go long term on any immediately. - Lunaion
The only one I would consider long term is Levi. But not till after I see this season fold out |

Should talk to his agent. Not buffalo's problem - DirtyDan
Exactly. If he held out one more year, he’d be making 10mil per |

50 million prospects
lots of cap space
the pk, goalie, and d men brought in could have been upgraded
better options than comrie, clifton, eric johnson and jost
this is a team trying to make 7th or 8th place right now
they had the assets and cap space to make a cup run this spring
feel free to try to change my mind |

I wonder consider Levi before Quinn. He looks good but just can’t stay on the ice. I know they are all “freak” accidents but it’s a pattern and any one of them could greatly affect his ability |

Did we buy one or did we get 2 years of his UFA status? Not sure what the rush was on this one tbh

I give adams his full credit for signing his core, all on good or great deals. If power turns into a 28 min 70pt dman this contract is an absolute steal
Time will tell but his drafting seems to be pretty good too
The big question now is can he supplement this team with the proper pieces to become a perennial cup contender

It's where things get tougher. Things change a lot between #1 and #8.
Mitts is the big test. No clear answer there.

The agent is probably looking out more for himself. You would a smaller short term contract to cash in like dahlin afterwards would have been the way to go. But if he gets injured like Erik Johnson or something like that that hurts his play he won’t get that dahlin deal. - IndianaSabresFan
Yep. And from one of "best agents" in the league according to some. Zero upside in this deal for Power. |

That will either be a great deal in two years or a boat anchor. It’s a risk be interesting to see how it works out. - IndianaSabresFan
A boat anchor? Have you been sniffing glue recently? |

They have their cap #'s now which is big to make a good moves for the future.
Nows the time to make your trades and such. They more or less know what they have in their players now. Better finger on where their prospects are at. |

Because it only buys 2 UFA years. I think the 8th was important.
I like it, don't make too much out of my initial reaction.

It's not even about their draft status for me. The underlying numbers aren't really there with those other guys. Quinn had them, then he got hurt.
Mittelstadt had them for half a year, but he's older, so a long term deal includes a chunk of his 30s that they may not want to be on the hook for. |
