if they stay healthy the habs have basically the same chances of fighting for a playoff spot as the wings.

yeah, I think you misunderstood what I'm saying...

chances are the habs aren't making the playoffs (it's still my "bold prediction" lol) but the red wings kinda suck.

I think the Red Wings have a significantly better team than the Habs, but we will see.

At this point, I think the Red Wings are better.

2-3 years from now, not sure.

I'm not convinced.

Despite their short term moves to improve, I don't see them as a much better team than the Habs, if at all.

I think they will be in a fight with the Sabres and the Pens for that last spot. And if all goes well, maybe even the Wings.

I'm convinced Buffalo will take a big step forward this season. They have to.

Ottawa better have a strong start because they have glaring holes in that lineup. And Korpisalo better stay healthy or they are toast.

They were close last season

look at the Devils last season. It took them a while but here they are

I remember people saying the same thing about the Panthers before they got back into the playoffs

Teams like Buffalo, Detroit and Ottawa are on the rise. All ahead of mtl in their rebuild. Thats how long a rebuild can take. Its not a 2 or 3 years thing.

Mind you Buffalo made some mistake along the way, but still.
