well you could also consider that Monty is getting the 1st home game of the season on Saturday, I don't think there are any messages to be given really, he already knows that the #1 spot in goal is there for the taking.

both goalies had an average camp, but last season Monty was way way better than Allen, not even close. he fully deserves to start the season and be considered as the #1G.
