both goalies had an average camp, but last season Monty was way way better than Allen, not even close. he fully deserves to start the season and be considered as the #1G.

Allen has a young family that lives in New Brunswick, he wants to stay close to home. Probably the last guy that will be asking for a trade on the Habs roster

they're probably considering sharing the net 50/50 at this point, unless a clear starter emerges between both.

Monty was good last year but it isn't like Allen was complete dog poop either, currently they aren't worlds apart in terms of performances.

Primeau will be sent to Laval once Tampa picks up a goalie IMO.

Most teams in need of a netminder are waiting for Buffalo to make a move with one of their 3 netminders.

meh, perhaps you find I'm naive but I'm kind of glad I have a more positive look on things to be honest, whining and complaining defeats the purpose of watching sports to be entertained imho.

Je ne suis pas en désaccord avec toi sur le fond, mais à 3 gardiens, il ne pourra pas en jouer des tonnes non plus.


Ils veulent peut-être le voir dans quelques matchs dans la LNH avant de prendre une décision.

I don't see a big difference between Allen and Monty, they are both #2 IMO. Monty is UFA next year, Allen has 2yrs left on his contract. I see them alternating between both this season.

oh it's definitely temporary, 3 goalies for a whole season would be dumb and unsustainable for everyone.
